As a Civil Celebrant, I create and lead funeral services and memorials that serve as a fitting tribute for your loved one. Whether that’s a traditional service with a hymn and committal, or a colourful, uplifting celebration of life at the Crematorium or a Memorial at the venue of your choice.

More and more people are choosing Direct Cremations (through local Funeral Directors) due to cost but in my experience, a compassionate service reflecting your loved one is incredibly important to pay your respects, celebrate their life and say goodbye, and thank you. It is important in processing grief and loss, and a positive experience can support you on your path. (We’ve all been to funerals where wrong names are used, or the service did not reflect the person).

You have options. Wherever reflects your loved one: your garden, the woods, a favourite cafe, your Local, or beach hut. My confident and calm presence will guide you through saying goodbye. I can help you navigate all your options, listening closely to how you want the service to look and feel. From choosing meaningful poems, readings, and songs to bringing back cherished memories. How about a local musician to play a favourite song? I am here to support every step of the way.

By listening closely to your stories, looking at your photos, and sharing in your memories, I gain a true understanding of your loved one and your relationship with them. This allows me to craft a personalised life story that truly reflects and honours the person you have lost. I will always share this with you beforehand to ensure you are completely happy with it.
